Patrick Lambertz (born 1972) grew up in Germany, Ghana, and Belgium, but has lived and worked in Switzerland since 2009. Lambertz first studied filmmaking in Berlin and worked alongside artists such as Wim Wenders, Rosa von Praunheim, and Shirin Neshat before becoming a marketing specialist in the sports and fashion industry. During this time, he continuously realized professional shootings as a photographer for print magazines, advertisements, and catalogs. Patrick Lambertz, who became enthusiastic about the art of photography at an early age, began exhibiting his work at the age of 18 and received the German Youth Photography Award in 1993 as well as 1994. Since the beginning of 2019, Lambertz has been featured in various exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad. In a current series called "Chalets of Switzerland", he explores the widespread clichés about Switzerland and creates exciting moments of contradiction through his lens. In Lambertz's series "The Architecture of Hunting", he takes the self-evident high seats as architectural icons of hunting and creates a bizarre borderline of the mechanical relationship between modern mankind and nature.
