Arndt Voigt

Arndt Voigt (1924–1988, Dresden) was the son of Isolde Voigt and demonstrated an early fascination with photography, a passion shared within his family. In the early 1950s, his photographs appeared in the Sylt Illustrierte, and he later contributed to the publication Jagt & Hund. Despite his recognition as a photographer, Arndt chose to dedicate himself to the family business, continuing to explore his artistic interests in his free time. Upon his passing in 1988, he left behind an extensive archive of unpublished photographs, offering a compelling visual account of his era. His enduring love for photography and the world around him is preserved in this remarkable collection, providing an intimate window into his experiences and legacy.
